Deerstalker Editions Launches Paperback Mysteries by ( 19 March 2011 / ) - Deerstalker Editions, which has published mysteries and thrillers in various ebook formats for almost a decade, hasl begun issuing select titles in paperback. The initial titles will include:

  • The first U.S. edition of New York journalist Jerry Oster's prize winning crime thriller Nightfall, plus a reprint of his New York Times "notable mystery of the year" Sweet Justice. Both feature Oster's trademark sadsack cop heroes.

  • The first ever collection from mystery novelist Jack Bludis, Munchies & Other Tales of Guys, Gals, and Guns, featuring the Anthony and Shamus finalist title story; plus a reprint of his Shamus Award finalist private eye novel, Shadow of the Dahlia.

  • The newest book from suspense novelist Irv Eachus, Sunstroke, a technothriller torn from the headlines, introducing an engaging new investigator/hero, and a reprint of his "nifty little thriller whose action never flags" (Washington Post), The Raid.

  • And a reprint of the Dashiell Hammett/Thin Man and Minnesota Book Award finalist novel, The Murder Picnic Mysteries, introducing a delightful new male and female investigative team.

All books books will be published as ebooks and paperbacks. The ebooks will retail for $7.99 and the paperbacks for $15.99 in 5.5" x 8.5" trade paperback size.
