At last we get to find out what happened to Aaron. Sort of. Kinda. We find out if he is dead or alive. And we find out on the very first page! He's alive. But surly. He's not real sure he wants to join Carnegie on San Juan Island for Lily's wedding.

Carnegie, a professional wedding planner, is planning Lily's wedding. After all, Lily is her best friend. She's taking off for the Island a few days before the wedding to visit her mother who is staying with her millionaire boyfriend, Owen, at his place. The trip gets off to a bad start when Carnegie meets one of Owen's daughters, Adrienne, who flies Carnegie to the Island. She's not nice, and is a bit of sadist as a pilot. Then Carnegie meets the other daughter, Kimmie, who is not any nicer than her sister. Next she meets the gorgeous Guy Price, Owen's jack of all trades about the house. Carnegie is not impressed with Guy, she hasn't found any good qualities in Adrienne and Kimmie, Aaron's still not sure if he'll be coming to the Island, and her mother is off with Owen. What a wonderful, pleasant stay on the Island this is shaping up to be. It gets better when Carnegie finds Guy, dead, the next morning. This might interfere with Lily's wedding. Remember Lily's wedding, the reason Carnegie came to the island to begin with?

I like this book. I like this entire series. The characters are very well done. I liked the ones I was supposed to like, didn't like the bad ones, and was surprised, both for good and bad, with others. I think someone looking for a good, character-driven story will enjoy this book. And you find out what happened to Aaron. You'll have to read the book to find out if he comes to Lily's wedding.
