MJ and crew are off to Kidwella Castle in northern Wales. It's rumored to be haunted by a deadly ghost, the Grim Widow, who allegedly drowns unsuspecting guests in the castle's moat. Gilly is absolutely terrified of going, and while that gives MJ a moment of pause, the show must go on and so off the Kidwella the whole crew goes. However, the first night there, MJ and Heath are attacked by a spirit, and the young man who checked them at the Castle is murdered. That's not really a good beginning to ghost bust.

When Heath has a run in with the Grim Widow, and barely escapes with his life, MJ and Heath want to quit. But, they are offered a lot of money, a huge amount of money, to stay and finish this particular ghost bust and make a movie out of it. Well, all of them could use the money. And MJ got a look at the spirit of the young man who was murdered -- chained to the ghost of the Grim Reaper. MJ had never seen one ghost hold another captive. It's not curiosity, but sympathy for the young man's spirit, along with the offer of a whole lot of money, that tips the scale in favor of staying to finish the ghost bust.

The book is well written and moves along at a good pace. It was spooky enough to make me wonder what that noise was over there, but not so spooky that I couldn't sleep. And I did not guess the ending. It's a good book.
